Merchandising Assistant Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned and licensed brands, has an immediate opportunity for an Merchandising Assistant for our Traditional sleepwear. The position report to Director of Merchandising and the Brand Manager. We offer a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week with flexibility to work additional days as needed.Key Responsibilities include:Product Development & Team Support:Assigning with the development processUpdating the Market development Line Plan as needed for the teamAiding in having Styles created in PLM Blue Cherry and checking for accuracy.Aid in Promotion of Styles Adding label codes in Blue Cherry for Market order entry.Ecommerce Sites & Social Media: Creation of Product Roadmaps for our WebsiteSupport Social Media accounts through content calendar planning and postingInfluencer outreach through LTK and management of giftings.Aid in photoshoot planning & prepAttend Photoshoots & aid in stylingSupport product copy templates Images to be sent out to retailers.Aid in supporting Public Relation's Marketing requests and needs for images samples as needed.Sample Management:Management of ad samples for retailers from Production and following up on status to keep within deadlines.Management Organization of the showroom samplesTOP samples Aid in Steaming of market samples photo samples when necessaryCore Competencies Able to prioritize a high volume workload. Willingness to learn new skillsA "Can do" attitude Ability to work with cross functional teams. High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsQualifications:BS degree in Fashion Merchandising or related area with relevant puter-proficient and quick study of new programs MS ExcelWordOutlook a must. Familiarity with PLMdata management systems (Blue Cherry) a plusExperience with Shopify or Canva a plusExperience with Social Media; Instagram Facebook a plusExperience with LTK or Affiliate programs a plus but not necessary.
