Tax Manager

Position OverviewWe are a growing firm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning functions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in advising clients on tax strategies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and managing a team of tax professionals. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, including 1120, 1120S, and 1065 forms.Develop and implement tax planning strategies for mid-market clients, including S Corporations, C Corporations, and partnerships.Provide guidance and support to junior staff on tax-related matters and compliance issues.Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and recommend tax-efficient strategies.Assist in managing tax audits and communicating with tax authorities on behalf of clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredIdeal to have a MST or MBAMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxStrong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.Experience working with mid-market clients and understanding S Corp, C Corp, and partnership structures.BenefitsSalary: $120K-$150KyrHealth Dental Vision InsuranceDisability Life InsuranceFSA & HSA401(k) with matchPerformance BonusesParental Leave Paid Holidays Vacation & PTOProfessional supportReduced summer hours (Fridays)AND MOREEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
