Our client is seeking an experienced IT Finance and Procurement Analyst. In this role, you will support the organization's IT financial planning, procurement, and analysis processes related to IT expenditures and investments. This role will involve monitoring IT budgets, coordinating procurement activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all financial and purchasing operations align with the company's goals and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of financial and procurement processes in a technology-driven environment.Associate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.Role & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis:Assist in developing and maintaining IT budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Analyze IT expenditures on cloud services, infrastructure, software, and hardware purchases to ensure they align with department goals and the overall company strategy.Facilitate conversations on cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficient resource allocation.Perform variance analysis, track spending against budgets, and provide detailed financial reports to management.Support the preparation of long-term financial planning for IT projects and capital investments.PO Systems Admin:Responsible for the upkeep of the PO system and implementing new features as neededWorks closely with accounting to continuously improve the invoice management processesEnsures accountability through the PO system processMaintains adequate documentation for colleagues to use the system appropriatelyReports on POsInvoicesProcurement Operations:Facilitate the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.Work closely with IT, Vendor Management, and Finance & Accounting teams to define procurement needs, prioritize purchases, and manage vendor selection.Work with business owners to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable deals.Maintain relationships with key vendors and ensure contract complianceVendor Management:Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).Review and manage vendor contracts, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to company policies.Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies within the IT procurement pliance and Risk Management:Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant policies, legal requirements, and corporate governance standards.Monitor and mitigate risks related to procurement contracts, vendor relationships, and financial expenditures.Participate in audits and compliance reviews as necessary.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare regular reports on IT financial performance, procurement activities, and vendor relationships for IT Leadership.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, contracts, and financial pliance and Audit Oversight:Adhere to and ensure staff adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations. To that end, ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports and other recordkeeping plete and pass all assigned eLearning courses and certifications as required.Avoid all real or perceived conflicts of interest and always maintain privacy and confidentiality.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, procurement, or IT financial management, preferably in a technology-driven organization.Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and procurement operationsProficiency in procurement software and financial management tools (e.g., Concur or similar systems).Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and analysisExperience in creating PowerBI dashboards and reports to convert data to insight to action using data visualization and analysis.Strong analytical mindset and ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.Familiarity with IT asset management and lifecycle planning.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Desired Qualifications:Certified Public Accountant certification a plusAbout Proliance:We are a technical & digital marketing staffing agency based in Seattle, WA that specializes in matching you with quality opportunities that meet your professional aspirations.
