Sourcing and Production Assistant

As a Sourcing & Production Assistant for Legwear, you'll be at the forefront of our production team, driving daily operations, overseeing sample approvals, and ensuring flawless internal organization. You'll be the key link between our global vendors and internal teams, upholding Basic Resources' high standards and cultivating strong, collaborative relationships. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every detail aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional, high-quality apparel.Responsibilities:Communicate daily with overseas vendors to manage order inquiries and ensure timely deliveries.Create and share Time & Action Calendars with vendors for each purchase order.Track and update purchase orders weekly (WIP Report) to ensure production milestones are met according to the Time & Action Calendar.Oversee, order, and track top-of-production samples from overseas vendors to ensure they meet company standards before shipment release.Attend weekly meetings with internal and cross-functional teams to review the status of new and existing orders and address the needs of each team.Assist the Production Team with various production-related responsibilities as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree requiredStrong communication skills essential for effective coordination and liaisonTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate well with othersSolution-oriented approach to problem-solvingExcellent multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong prioritization and time management skillsHighly organized, self-starter, and deadline drivenProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PLM and SAP is a plusAbility to work in the office 2-3 days a weekAnnual salary starting $50,000.The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
