As the Human Resource Director for our Mid Atlantic Regions (North Carolina, DC, Maryland and Virginia) you'll be the go-to person for all things people-related (and some not) in your regions, from helping the teams find the best talent to ensuring everyone feels like they belong and perform at their best every day. We are uniquely set up in that you will report to the Vice President of Operations for the Mid Atlantic, yet very much connected (dotted) to the Chief People Officer and will partner with HR leaders across Guardian.What You'll Primarily Be Doing:Shaping the HR Game Plan:You'll craft and execute HR strategies, aligning with other HR Directors across the company, taking the big picture goals and putting your own regional twist on thingsLeading an incredible team of Senior HRBPs and HR Coordinators who have solidified HR as a true business partner in the regions and strive for excellence each dayBe a Talent Matchmaker:Partnering with our wonderful Talent Acquisition team, you'll support and suggest recruitment strategies, helping find rockstar candidates who not only crush their roles, but also fit our culture like a glove (or a really cool pair of sneakers, your choice)Evolve onboarding, development and retention programs so no one ever wants to leave usCulture Champion:You'll be the ultimate ambassador of regional culture, ensuring our workplaces are one where people are excited to be.
