Conference Center CoordinatorA mid-sized litigation law firm is hiring for a proactive, resourceful and eager Conference Center Coordinator for their midtown NYC office. This role oversees the operations and appearance of the Conference Center.Salary is commensurate with experience: $65-80k base plus paid overtime, bonus eligibility - competitive benefits starting day 1, 401k with contribution, PTOOnsiteHybrid - For first 90 days, this role will be onsite Monday - Friday for trainingramp up periodHours: 8am-4pm in office Monday - Thursday and every other FridayResponsibilities include:Supervises the scheduling and coordination of meetings and events held at the firm, ensuring that everything is organized and ready before and after meetings.Oversees the physical appearance and function of the Conference Center, coordinating with relevant operations team as needed, including Facilities, Catering and ITAssists with Zoom and AV set-upServes as the point of contact for all visitors, Conference Center users, and client requests and direct clients and partners to rooms.Reserves conference rooms and spaces, and coordinates all associated services and needs (e.g., foodbeverage, audiovisual, facilities, signage, materials)Answers telephones, takes messages with accuracy and handles or refers questions and requestsUnderstands the firm's emergency procedures and is prepared to carry out designated tasks in the event of a fire or other emergencyMaintains the attractive, neat appearance of the Reception areaPerforms other duties and special projects as requestedQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:2+ years of relevant conference center, office services, reception or reception experience in a law firm or professional services firmA flexible problem solver, self-directed, customer service oriented, and collaborativeStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and detail orientedAbility to self-motivate, motivate others, be resilient and a strong team playerHigh touch approach, customer service focusedStrong interpersonal skills with polite, positive manner and ability to interact effectively with a broad range of peopleMaintain high-level of professionalism and competence when dealing with clients.Please submit your resume to apply!You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting homecandidate.
