Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD. *This position is 100% Remote (Local to DC Metro preferred - Potential quarterly on-site team meetings). *This position is 40 hours per week. This also is part of an on-call rotation that covers evenings and weekends, so some schedule flexibility is required. Candidate will gain: Hands on production experience with 50+ AWS services Exposure to development and architecture practices for 200+ cloud native custom applications Training and mentoring in DevOps Responsibilities : Schedule, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot application deployments 2nd level support for application outages 2nd level support for DevOps automation questions 1st level support for IAM entitlement questions Develop, build, test DevOps/Automation tools as part of an Agile Development team Required Experience : Python mazon Web Services Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Jira Preferred Experience : Release Management Jenkins Splunk Full Stack Development Linux System Administration VPC Network Administration SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
