Well-Being Program Coordinator Job no: Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Well-Being Program Coordinator Division Name: Student Affairs Department: Vice President Student Affairs Job Summary The Well-being Program Coordinator oversees administrative operations and strategic initiatives within the Well-being and Recreation Cluster in the Division of Student Affairs. Responsibilities include administrative activities, strategic planning, fiscal management, and collaborative outreach efforts. This role demands a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a commitment to advancing well-being and recreation initiatives within the university community. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency, cultivating partnerships, and ensuring compliance across all aspects of the Well-being and Recreation Cluster. Additional Information The Well-being and Recreation Cluster of departments includes: Student Health Services, Student Counseling Services, Campus Recreation, Redbird Esports and Health Promotion and Wellness. The Executive Director, Well-being and Recreation also leads campus-wide initiatives to support a culture of well-being. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Communication, Human Resources, Health Education, Recreation Management, or a related field. 2. Two (2) years of full-time or part-time equivalent professional work experience in well-being and/or administration activities (business management, human resources, or communication). 3. Demonstrated experiences coordinating (or serving on a coordination team for) campus-wide events or activities. 4. Demonstrated proficiency in oral/written communication and computer/web applications. 5. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the university community and the public. 6. Demonstrated ability to perform as a team player. 7. Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize, coordinate, and facilitate multiple projects and deadlines independently and with limited supervision. 8. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion as well as sound decision-making in handling and resolving sensitive and confidential issues. Preferred Qualifications 1. Familiarity with and/or passion for well-being and health at the campus and/or community level. 2. Demonstrated ability to work within established university and State of Illinois guidelines in the administrative area (business management, human resources, or communication). 3. Demonstrated experience training employees and/or volunteers. 4. Demonstrated experience in technology solutions for website management, organization and information management. 5. Familiarity with Illinois State University systems for processing and managing financial transactions.
