Director, Financial Systems & Transformation

FilmRise, Inc. seeks a Director, Financial Systems & Transformation in Brooklyn, NY. Job duties include: Oversee financial operations and drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes and technology. Analyze existing financial workflows and processes, identify opportunities for enhancement, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Develop and implement financial strategies and long-term plans to support FilmRise's growth and profitability objectives. Oversee the development and delivery of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of financial systems. Must be willing to work remotely.Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent as determined by a qualified credentials evaluation service, and at least two years of professional experience working in financial accounting. Must have at least two years of experience preparing and reviewing internal and external financial statements, including footnotes and other disclosures for compliance with U.S. GAAP requirements. Must have at least two years of experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and financial reporting work streams. Must have at least two years of experience compiling and reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings. Must have at least two years of experience conducting financial analysis, including fluctuation, trend, and variance analysis. Must be proficient in Alteryx, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, SQL, and Tableau. Must be willing to work remotely. Annual salary: $190,757. Please send resumes to .
