Description Job Profile We are a successful materials distributor serving the telecommunication and utilities industries. We are looking for an Accountant to join our accounting team. We are seeking candidates that are productive and flexible with attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position would assist the Finance management team with financial analysis and monthly close items while also being a reliable resource that can shift from one task to another as needed. Core Responsibilities Prepare monthly revenue and margin analysis. Calculate and prepare vendor rebate, POS, and inventory submissions. Assist with the completion of budgets and forecasts. Reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts. Complete Expense Analysis write ups for assigned accounts. Manage prepaid inventory for large customers. Provide financial support for sales team for large accounts. Develop and prepare monthly reports for purchasing activity. Conduct ad hoc financial and purchasing analysis as needed. Other Duties as Assigned. Requirements/Key Experiences Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel User Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; experience will be considered in lieu of degree. 2-4 Years of Accounting or Finance experience Accurate and detail oriented Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload Proven ability to effectively collaborate with other departments Clear and effective oral and written communicator Other Qualifications Must be able to read, write and speak English.
