Job Description Senior Estimator Farmingdale, Long Island, NY (must live within a commutable distance to the Nassau/Suffolk County border, (RT 110 Corridor) Full Time/Perm $120K - $130K Full service environmental and construction firm is looking for a Sr. Estimator to join their growing team. Qualified candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the Nassau/Suffolk County border, (RT 110 Corridor). Required: Must HAVE estimating experience in the construction, environmental, industrial, or similar industry Experience in the Pump and Tank Industry is a real plus Ability to manage and generate project estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 up to $5,000,000. Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of excel Knowledge of Cost Estimating Software is preferred Ability to read plans and other project documents Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the estimating team and the overall performance of the department. The estimating team focuses on environmental and fuel facility-focused projects and services. Accountable for managing, motivating, and training the estimating team and must ensure that all estimates are submitted accurately, consistently, and timely for the Construction and Service Business Units. Preparing a portion of the construction and service estimates.
