Patient Tech - Prep / PACU Day - 40 hours M - F, 6am - 2:30pm The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Zayed 3 Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU) is a 43-bed unit that provides services to patients undergoing surgery and interventional radiology procedures such as cervical decompression fixation/fusion, open reduction internal fixation, microvascular decompression, kidney transplant, craniectomy, cerebral arteriogram, Intercranial embolization, and trans arterial chemoembolization. Our unit supports the care being provided in 14 operating rooms, 8 interventional radiology rooms, and 2 CT rooms. Our team is comprised of autonomous, highly engaged, and expert professionals who are dedicated to deliver the highest quality of care and the ultimate experience to our patients! To learn more about our benefits go to Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required. One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered. BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted. Salary Range: Minimum 17.37 per hour - Maximum 26.13 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
