Middle Office Analyst

Eagle Seven is seeking a Middle Office Analyst to support our Accounting, Risk, and Trading teams with reporting, P&L reconciliation, and trade/position balancing. This position is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is interested in developing their accounting automation skills in a challenging and dynamic trading environment. Primary Responsibilities include: Gain a thorough understanding of various automated daily accounting, reporting & reconciliation processes Perform daily trading activity, position & brokerage reconciliations in addition to profit & loss reconciliations for derivatives and securities trading activity across firm Work with traders, back office, risk managers and clearing firms to address trade breaks, fee and interest inconsistencies, clearing and settlement issues Assist back office team with P&L compilation reports at regularly scheduled intervals Work with teammates to automate various tasks & reports Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and development of various automated processes pertaining to middle and back office duties Address post trade risks and perform other middle office tasks such as margin calculations and position/collateral transfers Complete ad-hoc requests and provide support to other team members as needed Requirements Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 1-4 years of relevant experience Proficiency in MS Office Intermediate level skills in MS Excel, including VBA Working knowledge of Python is a plus but not a requirement Must be very detail oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and multi-task Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative environment Knowledge of financial markets/trading terminology preferred, but not required Benefits Eagle Seven offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employees.
