Black & Veatch is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station projects. This role involves providing technical guidance, coordinating with design teams, and working with local electrical utilities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Professional Engineer's license, and at least 8 years of experience in electrical design and construction services. Experience in EV charging and power system analysis is preferred. Location: Overland Park, KS Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program Professional Engineer's license in MO, KS, or another US jurisdiction 8+ years in electrical design, planning, and construction services EV charging experience preferred Overall familiarity with and experience designing to NFPA-70: National Electrical Code (NEC) Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution design and equipment Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years related work experience.
