Join the Company's Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division as an Electrical Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support electrical systems, data acquisition, hydraulics, and testing initiatives in our R&D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects. Our team fosters a strong learning culture, where knowledge sharing and professional development are highly encouraged. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects. • Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors. • Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency. • ssist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed. • Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making. • Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment. • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture. Requirements: • • Hands-On Skills: Strong experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting. • Communication: Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities. • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation. • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to Company facilities, local universities, and suppliers. Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property. Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Location: Mentor, OH 44060 Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - 40.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
