Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk and Cycle Counter, who will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels within the manufacturing plant through regular cycle counting and reconciliation. This full-time position is based out of Cashco, Inc. headquarters in Ellsworth, KS.Monday through Friday (7:30am to 4:30pm)AR Clerk Responsibilities:Generate and issue invoices in a timely manner.Ensure accuracy of invoicing details including amounts, terms and due and update billing information in the accounting system. Record and process incoming payments from customers.Apply payments to appropriate accounts and invoices.Verify and reconcile payment discrepancies with clients. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are posted any discrepancies with accounts.Prepare and maintain aged receivable reports.Follow up on overdue accounts.Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments and account billing issues with customers promptly.Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.Ensure all documentation is filed and stored in accordance with policy.Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and with internal and external audits.Cycle Counter Responsibilities:Perform regular cycle counts as scheduled to verify the accuracy of inventory records.Use inventory management systems to track and document cycle counting activities.Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent inventory issues.Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded correctly in the inventory management system.Prepare and maintain reports on cycle counting results, discrepancies and corrective actions.Document all cycle counting activities, including any adjustments made to inventory records.Work closely with warehouse staff, production teams and procurement to address inventory-related issues and municate findings and suggest improvements to inventory management processes.Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and cycle counting. Participate in audits and inspections as required.Identify inventory discrepancies and develop solutions to prevent future recurrence.Assist in troubleshooting inventory-related issues and implementing corrective actions.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.RequirementsEducation:High school diploma, or equivalent required.Additional education and/or experience in inventory management or logistics preferred.AR Experience & Skills:Proven experience as an Account Receivable Clerk or similar role.Proficiency in accounting software.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.Must be able to communicate with others on a professional level through email, chat, face-to-face and over the phone.Must be able to multi-task and maintain focus both individually and as a team member.Must be extremely reliable and dependable.Cycle Counting Experience & Skills:Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks daily.Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.Manage time efficiently.Basic computer knowledge.Must be extremely reliable and dependable.Must be a team player.Work Environment:Will be in both an office environment and warehouse environment.The portion of the work that is performed in a manufacturing plant environment will likely involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels and safety hazards. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
