Data Product Owner

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data products, combining technical knowledge with business acumen in the financial services sector.Essential Requirements:Proven experience as a Product Owner in financial servicesPrevious experience as a ProgramProject Manager specifically for data initiativesStrong understanding of data architecture, including data consumption, storage, and access patternsDemonstrated success working in Agile environmentsExperience creating and managing product roadmaps for data-driven solutionsTechnical Knowledge Required:Data warehouse concepts and implementationData governance and quality managementETL processes and data integrationBusiness intelligence and reporting toolsData security and compliance requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in equities trading or processingKnowledge of market data systemsFamiliarity with regulatory reporting requirementsScrum certification (CSPO or similar)Key Responsibilities:Own the product vision and roadmap for data solutionsPrioritize and manage the product backlogCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsWork closely with development teams to ensure successful deliveryDefine and track success metrics for data productsEnsure alignment between business objectives and technical implementationDrive continuous improvement in data management practicesRequired Skills:Strong stakeholder managementExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesStrategic thinking and problem-solvingUnderstanding of financial markets and productsAbility to translate complex technical concepts for business audiencesExperience with data modeling and visualizationThis role offers an opportunity to shape data strategy and solutions in a dynamic financial services environment.
