Our client, a DTC kid's accessory brand, is seeking a Product Development Associate to join their growing team. In this role, the ideal candidate will provide sourcing, PD and production support on all aspects of the product lifecycle from development to delivery.ResponsibilitiesDaily communication with vendorsfactories from concept to deliveryManage sample requests and track samples to ensure deadlines, quality standards and design aesthetics are being metMaintain the sample libraryReview Pre-Production and Top of Production samplesCollect and manage time and action information and assist with all Product Development and Production WIP chartsAssist in costing process to achieve target IMU goalsPartner with cross functional teams to ensure Purchase Orders are placed timely and accurately, including gathering all costing and product related information for sku setupAssist with new vendor onboarding and work with existing vendorsCommunicate with cross functional teams regarding any potential delivery issues, offering solutions & problem solvingMonitor and follow up on all product testing to ensure regulatory compliance, including collecting lab test reports and QC inspection reportsTroubleshoot product quality and technical issues with vendorsPerform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operationsQualificationsBachelor's degree required2-3 years experience in product development, sourcing, andor productionKnowledge of time and action calendarsAbility to multi-task and react to change in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills with appropriate sense of urgencyExperience in licensing is a plus!Salary: $60,000-70,000 commensurate with experienceHybrid office scheduleYou can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting homecandidate.
