In return, you will have the opportunity to be part of the world's leading side scan sonar enterprise: contributing to significant advancements in our technologies and operations.We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to develop, lead and execute a marketing strategy that will elevate the Klein brand. We'd like you to expand the market presence of Klein whilst actively marketing to drive customer demand. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing marketing initiatives across various channels, including digital, content, and product marketing. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports, requiring a proactive and creative individual who can work independently to achieve marketing goals. You will also be keen on modernising processes within marketing as digital transformation will be a key part of this role. You will be an early adopter who is ready to take on a challenge, is excited about the future of marketing and is looking for adventures across the US and the world. Role Details: This is currently a salaried part time position (24 hours per week) with the possibility of becoming full time as responsibilities are fulfilled. The role will be on-site and based in our Newburyport, MA. location. Anticipated start will be January 2025; a qualified candidate may be considered for an earlier start date. Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Klein's products and services, targeting relevant industries.Collaborate closely with Sales and Engineering, including our product development teams, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with business objectives.Create, curate, and manage engaging content across multiple channels, including website, blog, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.Be the HubSpot lead both from a Marketing perspective but also by engaging with Sales and Support teams to ensure the system is used efficiently across the business. Work closely with the parent company, General Oceans, and participate in the group marketing team. Have strong market awareness and be able to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities to position our brands effectively.Manage SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and lead generation efforts.Plan and execute product launches, trade shows, and customer demos to increase product awareness and customer engagement.Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot to maximize ROI.Develop sales enablement materials such as brochures, case studies, presentations, and white papers to support the sales teams.Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., creative agencies, stand builders) as needed for marketing initiatives.Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints and adhere to company guidelines.Some light graphic design and video editing work in line with brand standards.Manage Klein's company website using Craft CRM and HubSpot. Manage and maintain the marketing budget. Domestic and international travel may be required. Qualifying Attributes and Skills:Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a product-based technology company.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.Strong skills in Adobe tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.HubSpot superuser with certifications to accompany your skill set. Experience with marketing automation and digital transformation.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Klein Marine Systems offers a generous compensation package.
