Full Stack Engineer

Required Skills & Experience• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or full stack engineer o Extensive focus on back-end development with some front end. • Experience with programming languages, specifically writing code in Go. • Understanding of SDLC • Experience with digital video workflowoperations, and digital video technology development. • Understanding of playback protocols (DASH, CMAFHLS). • Technical experience with cloud based technologies (AWS). • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, etc. Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Familiar with CICD pipelines and large scale deployment. • Understanding of containerization as it relates to Cloud (Kubernetes, Docker). • Knowledge of technology principles (Agile, Scrum, etc.) • Knowledge with Server Side Ad insertion (SSAI) • Understanding of OO Design Principles and Patterns. Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking out a mid level Full Stack Engineer to sit hybrid in New York City 3 days a week on site for a large streaming service. This person will be joining a globally leading Media Streaming organization. As a Full Stack EngineerSoftware Engineer for this team, this person will be using in-house and third-party tools, building and supporting the live and linear pipeline for streaming video, optimizing video encoding, packaging, and delivery. The team will be providing support for live events and other linear channels, specifically supporting the editorial team with video uploads. They will be using requirements and modeling to work with Product Owners to implement smart technology solutions and tools delivering premium quality audio and video experiences, as well as managing and maintaining cloud-based content delivery and services.
