Today, they back our tiered portfolio of standard to fully custom solutions with dedicated end-to-end technical and logistical support "” plus a full range of capabilities that help customers address complex applications and manufacturing challenges.Key Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Engineer: NGFWEndpoint Protection Administration: Design, configure, monitor, and manage existing Palo Alto firewall & endpoint protection platforms.Vulnerability Management: Remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner and in compliance with our SSP thresholds, interfacing with divisional IT developer & infrastructure staff as dustry Notices: Routinely monitor relevant vendor notices, open-source intelligence, and 3rd party disclosures & news to ensure timely mitigation and remediation of newly discovered flaws or 0day threats.Security Operations (SecOps): Monitor, manage, and mitigate security alerts and incidents including Endpoint Protection logs, server event logs, SDWAN, and Internet firewall logs, etc.MFA: Manage existing MFA system & integration with multiple cident Response: Lead the technical investigation and response to security incidents, including containment, eradication, recovery, and evidence gathering as needed, including root cause analysis and detailed incident reportsremediation needed.Requirements of the Cyber Security Engineer: Bachelor's degree (B.A.B.S.) in Computer Science, I.T., or related fieldMinimum 5 years each of cybersecurity, networking, and server administration experienceWindows, Ubuntu, Cisco, & Palo Alto platform experience requiredAbility to work both autonomously & within team projects with deadlines requiredCISSP, CEH, GIAC, or other relevant security certifications preferredExperience in multi-site, multi-company IT environments is preferredThe successful Cyber Security Engineer will join a global organization that is looking to double in size within the next 5 years.
