Sr Python Developer with Financial Services

Salary is 170k to 200k + bonusExtensive experience with Python and proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and similar tools for data manipulation and analysis. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable applications, optimizing data processes, and driving innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications that leverage data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize data processing workflows and implement best practices for performance and scalability.Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring high availability and performance.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating them into our development processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in Python development.Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and similar libraries.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to project management.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
