We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team and oversee the installation and layout of automated systems provided by vendors and OEMs. If you have a keen eye for process improvement and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the installation, commissioning, and layout of automated systems supplied by vendors or OEMsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of automation into the production processTroubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtimeMonitor the performance of installed systems, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and efficiency standardsConduct regular audits of automated systems and recommend improvementsManage relationships with vendors and OEMs to ensure timely delivery and supportProvide training and technical support to production teams on the operation of automation systemsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environmentProven track record of overseeing the installation and layout of automated systemsStrong understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, robotics, and HMI systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Experience:Experience working with OEMs and vendors in automation system delivery and setupKnowledge of Lean manufacturing principlesHands-on experience with troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment
