Our client is a leading financial firm in Market intelligence.Director - Azure & Windows EngineeringThe Impact: as a Director, Cloud Engineering, you will be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team managing the systems administration of Azure Cloud environment and Windows platform used for running index applications. This role requires a seasoned engineer who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment.What's in it for you:Opportunity to work on a wide & industry leading technology stack.Work with team of talented engineers.Immense opportunity to learn new technologies & gain new skill petitive benefits & opportunity to work with market leading brand.Responsibilities:Install, Maintain, and administer Windows Servers in the cloud environment.Develop solutions in Windows & Azure Cloud for the application teams based on their requirements.Build Infrastructure components in Azure cloud for applications.Plan and execute periodic patching and security updates for Windows ServersCollaborate with Corporate Engineering team in periodic updates to the Windows ImagesCollaborate with Corporate AD and IAM team in managing the AD groups.Automate windows related tasks using Powershell, ansible, etc.,Collaborate with Corporate Workspace team in troubleshooting and resolving VDI & Citrix related issues.Work with Corporate EUC team on provisioning new VDIs, Laptops and PDAsAssist in troubleshoot and resolving VDI, Laptop and PDA issues.Plan and execute Windows Version upgrades.Collaborate with Corporate Messaging team on Office365 related issues and solutions.Manage windows file servers and NAS shares.Build cloud native tools for filesharingPerform NAS MigrationsBasic Qualifications:Experience in Administering Windows Server 2019 and aboveExperience in working with Citrix Cloud VDIs & ApplicationsExperience in working with Azure cloud and AWSExperience in working with AzureAD, Office365 and Active DirectoryExperience in managing the File ServersExperience in writing Powershell Scripts & Ansible PlaybooksPreferred Qualifications:Roughly 15 years of experience in Windows Administration & End User Computing.After you've applied, connect directly to the recruiter at inkenny-allen-815192100
