Mobile Chassis Mechanic

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Mobile Chassis Mechanic at their Indian Head IL facility. At least 2 years trailerchassis mechanics experience is required. Experience with heavy-wheeled vehicle maintenance is highly preferred and will give you an advantage over other candidates. * This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience *(MilTech leader heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic ideal.) Compensation: $57,000-75,000 total earnings ($24.00-32.00hr + $5k sign-on bonus + 7% target bonus) What You Will Do: Perform mechanical repairs and inspections in a depotrepair facility environment, in a shop setting. Will perform all types of automotive chassis troubleshooting and repairs (brakes and wheel end repairs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools, etc.) Troubleshooting and repairs will include ABS systems; air brake systems, wheels end, and structural assembliesSome welding and fabrication of chassisUse of a truck to drive to locations and complete repairs. (valid driver's license required.)
