SUMMARY:Global Market Management (GMM) is accountable for the strategies and the profitable growth of their market segments. They are the business leader and "thought leader" for their markets and an authority on the value chain from H&V to the end-user. They are responsible for understanding the market trends and applications, beyond frontline customers, and the broader competitive landscape. They are charged with developing and executing strategies that position H&V as the solutions leader. They work closely with customers along value chain, Sales, Product Management, and Technology to define product requirements, multi-generation application plans, and product positioning to ensure strong value propositions. Global Market Management is responsible for supporting the global commercial teams to deliver growth.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:"Segment Leader" for markets and applicationsGlobal market growth plans, LRP ownershipIdentify market opportunities and target customersSupport sales team in business developmentOwnership of marcom agenda, web social media contentValue proposition, product positioning, messaging and promotionsGather and share market intelligenceStageGate project sponsor: define market potential, CTQsMarket segmentation, application development (IP strategy)Value chain mapping and pull-through strategyMarket pricing (targets and min by application)Managingensuring critical H&V committee presence, influencing standardsEDUCATIONEXPERIENCE:Experience in industrial marketing, sales, product management, and product developmentMinimum of a BA or a BS (preferably in a technical discipline), MBA preferredExperience in filtrationseparation SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Pricing, segmentation, positioning, marketing communication, and strategy developmentSales and negotiation skillsFinancial analytics and development of business cases for justification of investmentsSuperior written & verbal communication and presentation skillsExperience in end-user outreach to generate "pull-through" demandProficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and WordUp to 50% travelSchedule flexibility for periodic calls with global team members in other time zonesHollingsworth & Vose is an equal opportunity employer.
