The ideal candidate should have 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, and proficiency in Python programming and advanced SQL. The position requires candidates who can attend an in-person interview and are local or willing to commute to Cincinnati.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows on the Azure platform.Implement and maintain Azure functions, working with Cosmos DB andor Synapse.Build scalable data solutions using Python programming and object-oriented programming.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop, test, and deploy data processing systems with CICD pipelines.Work with Databricks for data integration and advanced analytics (desirable).Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance tuning across data systems.Qualifications:6-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (Must).Proficiency in Python programming (Must).Expertise in Advanced SQL for querying and managing large datasets.Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, or Synapse (other cloud experience will be considered).Familiarity with CICD pipelines for automated deployment.Experience with Databricks is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
