This position will be responsible for the planning and directing process development for a successful, well established organization that is in growth mode. The right person for this role will have exceptional communication skills along with the drive and ability to identify the best process within an electromechanical production environment. The person in this role will work closely with the design/development engineers collaborating efforts leading the design phase into production. he successful individual will have a knack for quality, a continuous process improvement mindset, with the ability to lead others through change management for best practices. Apply now for immediate consideration! location: Wallingford, Connecticut job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 84,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Work closely with engineering team collaborating efforts leading design phase in to production Develop scalable assembly processes that will transfer from Engineering to Production Perform Root Cause Analysis studies focusing on any high visibility process non-conformances Develop and improve overall process related issues. Performs tasks such as writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/quality checklists and job aids for the team, etc. Engage with production team driving positive change and process improvements as well as in personal technical growth Mentor others by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback as well as guidance.
