4300 Golf Acres Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28208 Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Strategy & Planning: Work with required Organizational Functions to develop and maintain Excess, Slow, Damaged (ESD), and Non-Productive Product Inventory (NPI) Reduction strategies for all Equipment, Parts, and Supplies offerings across all Regions within the CE US and Canadian territories. Analyze and monitor product movement and purchasing data to identify opportunities for short, medium, and long-term Non-Productive Inventory reduction. Build relationships with HQ Category Managers, Regional Product Managers and their associated product suppliers to develop rebalance/scrap strategies to ensure effective product portfolio inventory levels are established and maintained. Interface with HQ Inventory, Planning, Operations and Finance teams to ensure functional strategies are aligned with Inventory and SKU reduction goals. Strengthen the relationship between CE Regions and the RC divisions of Carrier Corporation to ensure alignment in strategy and execution of product balancing. Oversee, Review, Communicate, and Facilitate all Product Inventory Reduction/Maintenance Strategies bi-weekly/monthly to HQ, Regional, and WSO Leadership. Maximize the Stage Gate processes to ensure effective "Concept to Sunset" on product strategies. Delivery & Execution: Establish an evaluation system for measuring the required facets of ESD and Non-Performing Product Inventory that highlights current and future opportunities and requirements. Work with CE Leadership, Planning, Operations, and Finance teams to understand the ESD and NPI Product Reduction requirements and opportunities. Perform monthly/quarterly ESD and Non-Performing Inventory briefings to designated functional Groups to ensure strategies are being executed. Work with Product Category Managers and their associated Suppliers to understand the ESD and NPI Product Reduction requirements and opportunities. Cross Functional Collaboration in the development of programs, promotions and sales strategies to reduce ESD and NPI products throughout all sales channels. Provide oversight and strategy guidance to CE regions on sell-through and disposition of ESD and NPI. Other initiatives, tasks and duties as directed by Carrier Enterprise Leadership team. Qualifications: Proven track record in supply chain with deep experience in understanding product sales, planning, operations, and inventory management. Focused experience in Inventory Management, ideally with 1-2 years of identifying and managing ESD and NPI. Proficiency in Microsoft, Salesforce, Inventory and Business planning software systems. Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills. Knowledge of product strategy and its relationship to Wholesale Distribution. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills A rich blend of analytical, creative, strategic, and tactical talents Education BA/BS degree (preferred) with 6+ years in Inventory Management with proven results in reduction of Excess, Slow, Damaged and Non-Performing Inventory.
