About the position Location: Hackensack, NJ Salary :90-105K Hybrid 2-3 days per week In this role you will be responsible for maintaining Marketing Budgets and Overheads activities for the USA. This includes monthly and annual budget updates, and building relationships with cross functional teams to reach success. Overheads Management Partner with Cross functional Department owners to plan, forecast and understand Marketing and Overhead costs Responsible for creating the annual operating budget Monitor development of Marketing and Overhead expenses throughout the month and at month end close. Reconcile GL activity and process journal entries in the form of accruals or reclasses. Provide insights to the FP&A team on actual spend vs budget to assess risk/opportunities Analyze financial results and key trends to assess risk & opportunities and communicate to the FP&A Sr. Manager and CFO. Manage monthly financial control activities including journal entries, reconciliations, review general ledger and oversee preparation of variance analysis and investigate unusual items, omission and significant differences Responsible for alignment across functions of month-end closure and forecasting timelines Prepare and submit monthly Marketing and Overheads forecast in financial planning system SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Software Ensure Marketing budgeting system 'Allocadia' aligns to Forecast Build and maintain effective working relationships with different department key players to ensure that budget and expenses are applied correctly. Consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting Implement process and improvement in areas where we can improve efficiency. Prepare monthly Overhead reports and share them with department leaders. Work closely with various global teams including 3rd party service providers. Submit R&D, Legal, IT and Communications recharges to global. Oversight of insurance, 401K and payroll requirements including maintenance of the prepaid schedules, completion of annual forms and invoicing. General Support FP&A team on month end close processes including reconciliations of accruals, posting all entries, including benefits group reporting and treasury reporting Assist with the internal and external audit processes Provide assistance on new projects and initiatives Minimum Requirements Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent; +5 years of experience in accounting Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure Ability to meet deadlines and enforce time management Flexible and open minded, quick to adapt to changing requirements Very strong work ethic and reliable Strong analytical skills Strong system knowledge: (SAP (S4 Hana), BPC, Power BI, AFO, Microsoft Office, MS Excel) Ability to travel 5% About you!
