This role is responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities within a designated value stream. This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products or services. Production hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to 3:30am Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers. Job Description Duties Responsible: Provide leadership and direction to a team of individuals within the value stream. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Implement Lean or Agile principles to optimize processes within the value stream. Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that products or services meet defined quality standards. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations within the value stream. Foster effective communication and teamwork. Identify training needs within the team and coordinate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Support the professional development of team members. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the value stream. Generate regular reports on production performance and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the value stream. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Required Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate must possess the following Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or operational setting. Familiarity with Lean or Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven solutions. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
