Responsibilities: Operational Management Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems for voice and data, including PCs, internal corporate server environment, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities. Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts. Keep current with the latest technologies. Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio. Manage design and implementation of corporate office builds. Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment. Manage IT team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Maintain IT "In person" presence in the corporate office. Manage corporate office Physical Access security and monitoring for general and sensitive areas Project Management Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation Manage all software licensing and renewals, working to eliminate waste and duplicate spend. Work with vendors to reduce the complexity of our software footprint. Operational Delivery As a member of the IT team, maintain a hands-on role in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT solutions. Participate in system monitoring, helpdesk resolution, and on-call availability Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts. Oversee administration and management of workstation security applications (DLP, MDM, DNS, AV, etc) Oversee management, security, and user entitlements of all SAAS applications Oversee and manage email security including DLP, DMARC, DKIM, STS, etc Strategy, Planning and Deployment Lead IT Department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Develop requests for proposals and work with vendors to coordinate the launching of all new initiatives. Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements. Position Requirements: Knowledge & Experience Demonstrated ability to understand and apply the organization's goals and objectives. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows and Linux-based physical and VM environments. Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.`` In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Track record of successful project management. Proven experience setting up and working with SIEM log centralization and monitoring Strong experience in managing all aspects of workstation security via 3rd party MDM, DLP, DNS filtering, AV/Malware protection, etc Personal Attributes Exceptional customer service orientation. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-stakes setting Formal Education & Certification University degree in the field of computer science, IT, computer engineering or equivalent experience Minimum ten years of progressive and successful experience Certifications - a plus
