Position Description: Customer service plays a key role in our company success by directly helping our customers. The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for supporting customers (dealers/distributors, sales representatives, and end-users) Help build our reputation as the premier provider of dental products and solutions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of customer inquiries and requests to include product selection, sample and catalog requests, non-stock items, basic returns, price quotes, special pricing, and status of orders Handle requests for domestic and international customers Work closely with our sales team Consignment management for North America Manage consignment fulfillment per Salesforce ticket requests Proactively seek solutions to utilize aging consignment Perform quarterly consignment inventory reconciliation Work with Territory managers and Dealer partners on the sale, return, relocation, or reclassification of consignment Assist in organizing freight requirements for international shipments Provide information regarding products and promotional opportunities to customers Communicate with clients via phone and email using proper phone and email etiquette Maintains established performance levels set by company Builds rapport and trust with clients to maximize customer loyalty Demonstrate competency in products and services as offered by Air Techniques Continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills Complies with all company policies and procedures Follow up to make sure all orders ship in a timely manner and follow up on any out-of-stock issues Maintain regular work attendance and punctuality Assist other departments when the need arises On-site position with the occasional need for overtime or weekends Performs other duties as assigned Work Experience Requirements: • 2 years prior call center environment experience • Proficient in English for professional environment, both verbal and written • Freight and logistics experience a plus • Dental industry or similar customer support experience a plus and experience using web-based service and/or e-Commerce tools (i.e., ERP program for order processing, Salesforce, Word or MS Excel) • Ability to work with different types of personalities in a professional, positive manner • Clearly communicate and articulate via phone and email • Professional attitude in following protocol and guidelines of the company • Experience in moderate to high pressured environments • Exceptional attention to detail • Demonstrated ability of follow up skills • The ability to multi-task and closely follow a schedule • Efficient in Microsoft office programs, i.e., excel Education Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required Salary: $20.00- $25.00 per hour Please note that the actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
