Job Description The University Partnership (UP) Office is seeking a part-time Student Worker to assist in the office. Job responsibilities include providing University Partnership information to students, faculty, staff, and visitors entering the office, on the phone, and via email in a cordial, professional manner; updating and distributing University Partnership information as requested; data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and web browsers; communicating through email, phone and in-person with partner academic advisors, faculty and staff as requested and as needed; maintaining phone log; performing clerical and office-related duties as assigned, such as updating and assembling requested folders/forms/handouts, distributing inter-office mail, making copies, faxing, filing and running errands; posting flyers on boards around campus, monitoring University Center classrooms/hallways and reporting irregularities; assisting with special projects; other duties as assigned by the Administrative Associate. 10-20 hours per week, including some evenings until 7 pm and some Saturdays until 2:30 pm. Qualifications Required: Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours, at least 18 years old, a high school graduate or GED recipient, a Lorain County Community College student, and maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Preferred: Must have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have some office work experience.
