Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities • Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical. • Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule. • Demonstrates superior customer service. • Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed. • Loading and unloading building materials and tools. • Being compliant with all health and safety regulations. • Following instructions and completing work orders online. • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed Qualifications • 2 years experience in repairs and maintenance preferred. • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical. • Ability to work independently and with other team members. • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues. • Desire to provide excellent customer service. • A sense of pride in your work. • Ability to communicate well with people. • Clean driving record and valid driver's license. • Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects. • Part of the on-call rotation. • Must have own tools. • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic • Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Over 2 years of maintenance experience
