Summary DPS Group is seeking a Senior Utilities/Facilities Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing projects engineering and technical aspects. This includes coordinating with various teams, managing schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members. Successful candidates will understand the process, system, and equipment validation lifecycle, have excellent communication skills and have strong decision-making skills. Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Lead the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new utility systems and facility upgrades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and cleanroom infrastructure. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure project completion within specified parameters. Manage project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and validation protocols. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cGMP regulations and industry standards related to clean utilities and facility design. Knowledge of engineering principles for designing and maintaining critical utility systems like WFI generation, purified water distribution, compressed air, and HVAC systems. Proficiency in equipment selection, sizing, and troubleshooting for utility systems. Compliance and Validation: Ensure all projects adhere to cGMP requirements and are properly validated through documentation and testing. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to manage validation activities for new or modified utility systems. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for potential compliance issues. Maintenance and Operations Support: Provide technical support for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of facility utilities and infrastructure. Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for critical utility systems. Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts for equipment and services. Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering Proven experience in pharmaceutical or related industries with a focus on utilities and facility engineering. Expertise in cGMP regulations and validation practices Strong understanding of engineering design principles and project management methodologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc. Additional Skills Required: In order to perform a client assignment for DPS successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to high technical standard.
