Orthopedic Technician - Days

Position Highlights: Position: Orthopedic Technician Location: Naperville, IL Full Time: 40 hours Hours: Monday - Friday varies between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Travel to other Locations: Plainfield, and other Orthopedic offices as needed What you will do: Greet patients and place in exam room Perform vital signs Perform dressing changes Fit required durable medical equipment (DME) Cast removal, cast and splint application Assistance with casting procedures under fluoroscopy Speak with patients over the phone and assist with problems Educate patients on care Support physician and office activity What you will need: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred Certification:Current CPR certification required Passing the Registered Orthopedic Technologist certification test within 12 months of hire date One year of experience in a physician practice setting preferred Evidence of leadership, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, basic computer skills and clinical competence Benefits: Career Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and Development Various Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision options Tuition Reimbursement Free Parking Wellness Program Savings Plan Health Savings Account Options Retirement Options with Company Match Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Community Involvement Opportunities
