Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Shift: Day Shift: 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Rotation: Typically 2 weeks of days, followed by 2 weeks of nights (no back-to-back day/night shifts) Block Schedules: Not allowed Duration: 13 weeks Location: Rochester, NY Unit Description: Surgical Stepdown Unit. 6 North or Day/Night with every other weekend (EOW) requirement. 3x12 or 4x12 shifts. 24 beds, including intermediate care and unit-based patients. Patients include surgical, neuro/neurosurgical, trauma, and those needing higher care between unit level and ICU. Vascular Surgery Step Down Unit caring for patients with procedures like carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass grafts, amputations, and ventilator/high respiratory need patients. Requirements: Active New York RN License. 1st-time travelers are approved.
