NC - RN Oncology - Asheville

Job Description: Location: Messino Cancer Centers (551Brevard Rd. Asheville, NC. 28806) Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday (noweekends, no holidays), 8a-5p Interviews: 1 interview onsite, after 3pm. Possibleshadow (case by case basis) Comp: ***-*** is the targeted hourlyrate. Rates are determined individually based on years of experience andinternal equity. Ideal: OCN Certified, prior oncologyexperience is ideal. Experiencing accessing ports and picc lines. Infusion. Preference: If not oncology, ED and Med/Surg are OK. No Psych, ICU, L&D. Required Experience/Qualifications: • Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment,with experience in IV therapy. • Experience with hematology/oncology patients in aclinic or hospital is required. • Ability to assess patient needs and condition isessential. Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability toreact calmly and effectively in emergency situations. • Current CPR & BLS certifications are required. • Fluency in the English language with excellent oraland written communication skills is required. • Valid Drivers license, in state of residency, fortravel to clinics.
