Product Engineer

Job Title: Product Engineer Industry: Aerospace Location: Newport News, Virginia DSJ Global is currently partenered with a leading Aerospace organization looking to add a couple of Product Engineers to their growing team in Newport News, Virginia. As a Product Engineer, you will handle all dimensional characteristics and tooling related to the investment casting process. This includes new development and production castings. You'll collaborate closely with a Process Engineer focused on metallurgical aspects, working to optimize yield, cost, and quality. Product Engineer Responsibilities: Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and drawings Write effective work instructions, reports, and business correspondence Present information and respond to questions from managers and customers Apply mathematical operations for tasks such as frequency distribution, test reliability, and statistical analysis Solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization Interpret various forms of instructions (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Self-motivated to drive continuous improvement Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship) Experience in casting Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX CAD, Minitab, and Excel Technical manufacturing and metrology experience
