Among those services is painting at commercial customer locations such as Starbucks, Chipotle, Black Rock Coffee, Red Robin, etc.. We are looking for an experienced professional painter who has completed painting jobs interior and exterior of commercial buildings, and also has a blend of trades skills ranging from general handyman skills, tile work, carpentry, refinishing, countertops, casework, cabinetry, drywall, etc. You would be the primary person we send painting jobs to, and we would add the other trade work into your schedule so that you always get your 40 hours in a week. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong skill set in the trades, a positive outlook, good decision making, likes working with the team as much as they like working independently. Someone who has solid experience in commercial painting, is a problem solver, and brings a calm collaborative approach towards challenges that arise. A great communicator and happy to jump in and help the rest of the team. Available Shifts Night Shift, 4 days on 3 days off Multiple options for what days per week Full Time or Part Time available Basic Qualifications Passion for the painting trade Read, write, and speak English proficiently Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 50lbs High level of attention to detail, quality, and customer service Proficient with Apple devices and must use various apps for timecard, work orders, and communication Ability to pass pre-employment MVR and background checks Personality Traits Lifelong learner Professional Reliable Self-sufficient Positive Attitude Open to new/different ways of doing things Excellent communication skills Key Responsibilities Perform site assessments for both small and large painting jobs Able to complete a variety of trade skills such as painting, drywall, mudding, woodworking, carpentry, light plumbing, light electric Professionally complete small, medium, and large size painting requests for our customers in a commercial setting Can complete a level 5 drywall painting finish Assist in creating SOP's and process flows for painting activities Perform prepping and painting techniques in a detailed, organized, efficient manner while maintaining cleanliness and safety. Paint various surfaces including wood, doors, door frames, windows, drywall, concrete, ceiling tiles and grid, etc. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with team members, vendors, general contractors, etc. Determine the best method to complete the job based on customer requirements and meet with Lead/Dept Manager to review work orders instructions. Conduct equipment check and ensure equipment is functioning Verify materials, equipment, and supplies needed for each job Help create standardized kits to ensure painters are always set up for success Follow existing company policies and safety guidelines Accurately report all work time and work functions What We Offer Profit sharing program 401k with company match Medical plan with dental and vision Flexible PTO plan Company provided devices Next Steps Upon submission, you will receive an application confirmation email.
