Sterilization Technician Entry Level

Job Title: Lab Technician- Entry Level *No industry experience required. For this role, you must be reliable, and able to/willing to work on site in a production environment.QualificationsEntry level, reliability/dedication is a must havePrevious work with hands preferredJob DescriptionWork with specimen and assist with animal husbandry. Process SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, animal products, and microbial cultures. Produce antigens and reagents (viruses, mycoplasma, and microbial organisms). Prepare media, buffers, and solutions. Document lab activities. Pack and ship lab reagents. Handle waste disposal and glassware preparation. Order supplies.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Willimantic, Connecticut.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to chemicals and fumes. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit and stand, and use fingers and hands.
