Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location with zip code: Mentor, OH 44060 Duration: 6 Months + Payrate : $25/hr - $38/hr on W2 Job Description: Support mechanical systems, testing initiatives, and hydraulic applications in our R&D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects. Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects. Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors. Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency. Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability. Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed. Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making. Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Strong experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting. Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.
