Planning Analyst

Title: Planning Analyst Salary: $70-80K Location: New York City Schedule: Hybrid Role (3x a week in the office) Company Profile: A leading manufacturer and importer of branded and private label apparel is looking to add a Wholesale Planning Analyst to their team. This person will be responsible for sales, profitability, and assortment analysis at the style/color/size level detail. This includes collaborating with customers to report on sales, track budgets, and set-up information. The Planning Analyst will Be Responsible For the Following: Run and analyze daily/weekly sales and inventory reports, prepared to discuss with managers and cross functional teams as needed Provide feedback and direction for day-to-day business operations based on reports and ad hoc analysis Formulate future business strategies and opportunities using historical and current sales analysis Create production plans by store volume group and current POS performance at the style/color/size level Identify sales and profit opportunities/liabilities and make recommendations to department The Planning Analyst Should Have the Following Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 2+ years wholesale planning experience involving sales/inventory analysis, and forecasting Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills and to negotiate and present information in an understandable format Comfortable with multi-tasking between multiple projects and achieving results, while shifting priorities as needed to meet business needs Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft BI, Python and Tableau
