Job Details Job Location Meriden CT - Meriden, CT Description Job Summary The Loan Servicing Correspondence Specialist I position will monitor and generate written communication in a timely and accurate manner to all serviced loan portfolios. The position is a liaison between the business units/departments and print vendors to produce and track correspondence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Utilizes letter-producing software system (OLLW) to create, generate, and maintain consistent written communication with borrowers from the Loan Servicing departments. Identifies various loan criteria to provide written communication promptly, including welcome letters, default notices and other specific borrower correspondence. Adheres to all Compliance guidelines, including RESPA and Government Agency Operating Procedures for (VA)(FHA), including specific timeframes regarding borrowers' written communication requirements. Serves as liaison between the business unit/department and print vendor, ensuring all assigned correspondence is prepared and sent within contractual timeframes. Collaborates with vendors to resolve portal issues. Tracks all correspondence-related activities (i.e., date received, date sent, etc.) and volume to be used in management analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Also including files from print vendors are uploaded to the imaging system. Makes recommendations and problem-solves for output files issues with vendors. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Position Requirements Education High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Experience Black Knight/ICE MSP experience strongly preferred. Understanding of Mortgage Servicing preferred. Functional/Technical Skills Above average verbal and written communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Displays strong organizational skills and manages time effectively Ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities Ability to meet deadlines Ability to adapt to a changing environment Benefits Our benefits package includes 3 comprehensive Cigna or Kaiser medical plans, dental, and vision insurance.
