Software Procurement Manager

Description Leidos is seeking a Software Procurement Manager to lead a task order for an integration, operations, and sustainment program. This role involves overseeing all project management tasks associated with software procurement, working closely with technical and program management leadership, and collaborating with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining requirements, priorities, risks, schedule, quality, and processes for the task order. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the software procurement task order for a large IT program in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Collaborate with internal Leidos procurement teams, leadership, and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with federal regulations for software procurement Provide input to hiring, firing, promotion, and performance decisions for direct reports Basic Qualifications: BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Masters with 3+ years of experience Active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph post hire Significant experience with software procurement Understanding of IT programs and processes Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Geospatial and/or NGA experience PMP Certification Understanding of cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) Understanding of agile software development methodologies
