MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Newton, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Duties: "Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc. Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure Assess and manage access site, and inform physician Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab Prepare patient for procedures" Skills: Licensed Radiologic Technologist RCIS certification preferred BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required Cardiac Cath lab experience required This will be a 12 week contract with rotational weekend and weekday STEMI on call for Newton location only. CVT/CVIS with cardiac cath lab experience. This a 4 day /10 hour shift -7AM-5PM. Invasive Cardiovascular Tech, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Cardiovascular Invasive Radiology Specialist. The candidate will also be floating to Morristown, NJ CCL for day coverage only and NO STEMI call. Mileage is reimbursed if going to Morristown.
