Your Impact: As a Director, Software Engineering, reporting to the Vice President, Software Engineering, you will oversee the software development and quality assurance of our Communications products and services. This includes overseeing product delivery aligned to the product roadmap, managing teams of software and QA engineers, and leading them to successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will be an avid problem solver, thought leader, and seasoned technologist,who possesses a strong software development background, leadership skills, and experience managing global staff. The Director will lead the engineering teams in prioritizing, planning and executing technology projects using agile (Scrum) methodologies. What the role offers: As a Director, Software Engineering, you will: Oversee high-quality, on-time product delivery and ensure it meets defined requirements. Lead Agile software development and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. Promote scalability, reliability, and security by enhancing product architecture. Proactively identify and remove risks that hinder development progress. Mentor engineers, supervise team activities, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend improvements in technology and performance. What you need to Succeed: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including leading large-scale SaaS projects. Expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) with a successful track record of on-time delivery. 5+ years managing software development projects with significant business impact. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing global development teams. Proven ability to foster collaboration, make strategic decisions, and maintain program visibility for key stakeholders.
