Position: Regional Sales Manager Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 Experience Required : Minimum of 5-8 years Industry Experience: Sales/Computer embedded industry experience Job Brief: Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join their team. This pivotal role involves tier one prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business, as well as maximizing sales opportunities within existing strategic accounts. The RSM will report directly to the SVP of the Eastern USA Business Unit and will be responsible for driving sales growth in the designated geographic region. Role Objective: The RSM will focus on targeted tier one prospecting, qualifying, and closing business in new accounts, and up-selling in existing strategic accounts within the assigned region. Local travel within the focused region is expected. Occasionally, leads may be directed by the SVP on a named-account basis outside of the focused region for strategic business reasons. Key Responsibilities: Create large account opportunities by utilizing direct and indirect resources and products. Prospect for potential $100K+/yr. customers by leveraging a professional network of contacts. Direct opportunities under $100K/yr. to Inside Sales or RCM. Generate outbound calls and follow up on leads, understanding buying influences in potential accounts. Provide accurate and timely forecasting. Utilize shared inside sales, AE resources, and product managers for technical support associated with presales activity.
