Job Description As a leader within the Analytics team, the Associate Director (AD) will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the team, focusing on business intelligence and data-driven solutions that enhance marketing performance and understanding of consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) insights. This position offers a unique opportunity to help build and guide a team, contributing to the development of future brand strategies. The AD will focus heavily on utilizing large data sets (such as DCM and NPI physician-level data), working closely with vendors like Medscape and RxN2, and incorporating technical skills in Excel, Python, and SQL. Over time, the AD will be responsible for capability-building within the team, ensuring knowledge-sharing and upskilling among team members. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape and build a high-performing analytics team while contributing to the growth and transformation of the organization's capabilities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space. This role reports into the Director, Analytics. Role Objectives: Client Leadership & Business Development Provide strategic leadership to senior client stakeholders and partners, particularly in the pharmaceutical space, with a focus on HCP data and NPI-level insights. Lead the development of analytics solutions to address client business and marketing needs, particularly for healthcare and pharma clients. Work as part of a cross-functional team, developing integrated marketing solutions to improve marketing performance and data-driven decision-making. Manage resources across a defined client portfolio, emphasizing business intelligence and the integration of large datasets. Lead cross-sell/up-sell strategies with an emphasis on growing client relationships in the pharma sector. People & Team Development Manage and mentor Analytics Managers and Senior Analysts, focusing on building the team's capabilities, especially around large data analysis, measurement, and data visualization. Prepare the team for eventual direct reports and play a key role in the team's growth, which will align with new brand initiatives and internal shifts. Participate in talent recruiting and retention efforts, focusing on upskilling the team to address gaps in HCP experience and pharma knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team, with an emphasis on capability-building and teaching. Practice Development Enhance and refine formal frameworks and methods to address client strategies, particularly in integrating physician-level data and healthcare insights. Collaborate across a broad range of agency stakeholders, including business intelligence, media, content, engineering, and planning, in the development and refinement of capabilities. Lead capability-building efforts within the team, sharing expertise in large datasets, measurement techniques, and technical skills like Python, SQL, and Excel. Drive forward-thinking analytics across the organization, using insights to guide operational transformation. Manage prioritization and allocation of resources across projects and teams, especially those involving healthcare and pharmaceutical data. Qualifications 6 to 8 years of experience in interactive marketing or business consulting, using data to drive marketing recommendations. 3-4 years of client-facing/consulting experience with a focus on healthcare or pharma, and 1-2 years of management experience. Strong experience in working with pharmaceutical clients, especially with healthcare professionals (HCP) and physician-level data (e.g., NPI data). Experience with digital measurement and data technology platforms, including Excel, Python, SQL, and experience with vendors like Medscape and RxN2. Knowledge of data visualization techniques and collaboration with teams using tools like Tableau. Proven ability to lead and grow analytics teams, develop strategic client solutions, and influence senior decision-makers. Degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, or economics. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Additional Information Compensation Range: $106,500 - $167,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
